Never too late to learn!!!

With so many things going on in our world, we have a few options. We can either get stuck inside of complaining or we can look at the situation with different lenses and find opportunities.

As I sat at home earlier in this year, there were some goals that I set for myself. The first goal was to create a hair care tip brochure (done and will be released soon). The second goal was to find a loctician online course. I have been doing hair for about 20 years and there is still so much to learn.

I love the work that I do in transforming hair, but I wanted to increase in my skills and knowledge. As I began searching for an online loctician certification, I found an amazing course that would enhance the work that I currently do. Plus, the teacher of the class lives not to far from me.

Now this is not coincidence; about a month ago I was blessed to be able to attend a hands-on two day training. As I take these classes, I continually pray to God and ask that He continue to increase my desire and capacity to learn.

I am reading, taking assessments and completing assignments. I am grateful for this opportunity to learn and I am advancing my craft so that I can better serve my clients.

What are you working on?
